Cloudburst - Traigh Mhor , Isle of Harris Fine Art Print
Traigh Mhor was my favourite beach on the Isle of Harris due to it’s long stretches of golden sand, waves crashing in straight from the wild Atlantic ocean and Toe Head jutting out into the sea at the end of the peninsula. On this particular day while wandering around the huge dune I noted an interesting set of old fence posts and wanted to capture them within my image. I waited until the light was just right, composed the image and as luck would have it a cloud formation appeared to burst right over Toe Head.
