Chocolate Drops - Dal Beag, Isle of Lewis Fine Art Print
The light, the rocks and stormy seas all came together to create this dream like image. I like to think of this image as cream pouring over the chocolate rocks. This evening was incredibly difficult to shoot as the wind was so strong that my tripod was constantly vibrating and being blown over. The sea was rough but the light was simply stunning. Once I had created this image I was content to retreat back to my tent just behind the beach and batton down the hatches to endure one of the stormiest nights sleep (or lack of) that I have ever had.
Such a stunning location should make you work to get an image and this one certainly did. I enjoyed every wild second out on that beach, facing the harsh Atlantic during the hebridean winter.
